SPORTING LETS - SALES/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Perth
Based in Perth, you will form part of a highly motivated team working directly to Partner Robert Rattray; to assist in the letting and administration of sport (fishing, shooting and stalking) that takes place in Scotland, Ireland, England and abroad. CKD Galbraith’s Sporting Department celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, and is regarded as the premier sporting letting agency in Scotland, with a portfolio of over 70 estates. You will work closely with our rural management letting teams throughout Scotland, and also our holiday letting company, Cottages & Castles, with whom they share an office. The successful applicant will ideally have some sales and secretarial experience, be comfortable in dealing with current computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and having the aptitude to understand bespoke programmes. He/She must have a confident telephone manner, and be comfortable dealing with clients at all levels. Previous experience of fishing, shooting, stalking would be helpful but not essential. The successful applicant must also be prepared to travel from time to time to visit other CKD Galbraith offices and for familiarisation visits to estates in Scotland and England.
Duties will include:
- Secretarial support for Partner in addition to other direct administrative support, including assisting in the arrangement of Game Fairs and outdoor shows.
- Dealing with clients at all levels, including estate owners and clients looking for sporting holidays.
- Selling sporting holidays.
- Accounting experience would also be advantageous.

ADMIN ASSISTANT, ESTATE AGENCY DEPARTMENT

Based in our Milngavie Office. Experienced administrator, reporting to Head of Agency Department, to provide assistance to the estate agency department.
The position would suit someone with excellent administrative and secretarial skills and experience in property sales.
General Duties
- To provide general assistance to agency department
- To answer/field general office telephone calls and emails
Specific Duties
To provide specific support to Head of Department including:
- Use of/ and detailed knowledge of agency system (Reapit)
- General secretarial work.
- Collating particulars.
- Arranging viewings.
- Following up viewings.
- Following up applicants (potential buyers) on database.
- Logging invoices on system and forwarding to accounts department
- Keeping TV screen up to date in agency window
- Keeping agency files in order.
- From time to time carrying out property inspections/viewings.

RURAL PRACTICE ASSISTANTS

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or APC students to obtain varied experience and relevant training in a busy office environment, covering property management and sales, together with valuation and consultancy work covering all aspects of rural business. Working as part of a team, and the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, initiative, integrity and flexibility are key to this role.
